MCCTC electricity class would like to thank Ron Minix, Carl Howard and Marvin McCarty for their help in Judging, our local Skills USA contest for residential wiring. Our students will be in competition at Mayo February 26, 2010.  

Electricity students at Magoffin County Career and Technical complete OSHA 30 certification. They have completed the necessary requirements to be OSHA 30 certified in construction industry. These students studied Electrical safety, OSHA laws, Lock-out tag-out training, Fork lift operations, Fall Protection, and Tool Safety as well as many other safety topics

Joanna Risner from the Magoffin County Extension Office visited North Magoffin Elementary to teach sstudents Nutrition Education. The students enjoyed playing a game called "My Pyramid Bingo" to enhance their knowledge.

"State Champs!!" The MCHS Dance Team received 1st place in the Large Open Division at the KDCO KY State Boy’s Basketball Dance Team Competition held in Somerset, KY this past weekend. They also received 3rd in Large Pom Division and 5th in Large Hip Hop Division. Congratulations Girls!!!
